Welcome to the Woburn Lions F.C. Website!
 Woburn Lions are a large and established youth football club based in Woburn, Beds. We welcome all children from anywhere, but for the past 33 years we have been teaching children from; Woburn and the surrounding villages; Woburn Sands; Aspley Guise; The Brickhills; and the South East of Milton Keynes. It is no exaggeration to say that we have many children whose parents and grandparents played in the Woburn teams.
The club is affiliated to, and work closely with, the Bedfordshire F.A. and were one of the first in the area to achieve F.A. Charter Standard status - the 'Blue Ribbon' of youth football quality marks. We are currently working towards achieving the next level of quality accreditation - the coveted F.A. 'Development Club' status.
All our coaches, managers and officers are volunteers.

New Players Wanted
As at Feb 2nd 2010
Woburn Lions Teams are looking for new players.
It is always worth applying for a place - if there is a waiting list for a particular year group we prioritise trials (if applicable) to children on the list. Trials - especially at the younger age groups - are not necessarily skill based. It's more a matter of compatibility and commitment. We will try to place any child, of whatever level in an appropriate team - all that we ask is that they want to learn about, and how to play, football; enjoy doing it; and that they are prepared to try the best they can to become a better player.

Woburn Lions Fun Day - Ever So Bouncy!
The Fun Day and Nursery Team Awards were held at Wavendon Gate School this weekend.
It was a bit different to our normal presentation night and was, thanks to the sun, a great club afternoon.
